Insanely Tanky Very high DPS Multiple Recovery and Defensive Layers Clears any content and 40/40 Challenges Not much thinking involved while playing Flicker Strike is not for everyone, jittery gameplay Not really league-startable Not SSF-viable Semi-expensive entry at league starts, comfortable prices mid-game

Notes
from Path of BuildingA build made by Tarekis.
Check out my YouTube and Twitch for more content like the Video Build or Crafting Guide:
A note about PoB config:
The PoB is configured with cooldown skills enabled, but Guard skills disabled, to reflect Boss damage with cooldowns up.
Trash mob damage is irrelevant, as Tribal Fury + additional Strike targets up to triples your regular damage.
LEVELING
See this Leveling Guide for an example on how to level this build, if you need some suggestion:
SWITCHING TO FLICKER
You can switch to Flicker as soon as you have the following:
- High quality frenzy (the higher the better, don't run a 0%)
- Multistrike in your link
- Disciple of the Slaughter allocated on Tree (bottom center)
- Clever Thief allocated
- Tribal Fury allocated on Tree (left of Disciple of the Slaughter)
GEAR PROGRESSION
A rough outline of what investment levels should you get which upgrades at.
These sections and prices depend on the current market, which I cannot account for in here, and at the time you check out the progression the prices for some equipment might be very different.
Close to none Investment
To start out, all you need is Ephemeral Edge, uncorrupted.
Grab as much ES on your gear as possible and cap your resistances.
Fix your accuracy with tree, gear and cheap benchcrafts.
Next Stage (~20d - this heavily changes troughout league, only use it as a guidance point)
Grab the most important/cheap uniques:
- Aegis Aurora
- Darkness Enthroned with budget increased % mod + Abyss Jewels
- Cheap Lethal Pride
- Stormshroud + shock avoid on abyss jewels
- Voice of the Storm + anoint
Get your Enlighten 3 and start running all auras. Swap out Purity once you get Stormshroud+Shock avoid.
Upgrade ES as much as possible on your rares, keep your res capped!
Do not forget to use lesser eldrich implicits, they are cheap and impactful.
Next Stage (~50d - this heavily changes troughout league, only use it as a guidance point)
Grab all Uniques besides (maybe) Bottled Faith or Light of Meaning if it's extremely expensive, 100% your DE, get shock fixed from one socket.
Upgrade your Lethal Pride, if you get a (near) perfect one now, you can forget about it later, your res or strength requirements may change depending on your LP, so lock in your final one as soon as your budget allows
Watcher's Eye, possibly with 2 wrath mods, depending on prices
Upgrade ES as much as possible on your rares, keep your res capped!
Upgrade your eldrich implicits from lessers.
Next Stage (~100d - this heavily changes troughout league, only use it as a guidance point)
Resolute Technique EE
Frenzy Shavronnes
Grab all Uniques, and as always, push ES as high as you can on your gear
Moving shock avoid to 100% DE + perfect 50% shock avoid jewel to get or at least prepare for +2 Aura Helmet is advisable.
You can juggle around with boot implicits to account for something like a 98% + 49% combo instead.
Next Stage (Beyond 100d)
2 Implicit Corruptions / Perfect rolls Uniques
+2 Aura Helmet and 28%Q+ Tri T1 ES Gear
Abyss Socket Gear
Upgrade your eldrich implicits with Conflicts, only do this for GG items. This shouldn't be done on items you plan to replace at any reasonable point, really. Selling giga gear might take time and tank your budget.
Mirror Chest (if i made/make one this league).
Anything more is mostly limit pushing and you can check Uber-Tanks for even more absurdly tanky setups or swap to a crit variant if you want more DPS if you have a few mirrors to drop.
CRAFTING/BUYING GUIDES
!! READ THIS FIRST !!
Most ES gear can drop from the Breach Tree, you might get a very good deal or item yourself, consider this before crafting, especially early game.
Self-crafting essentially all rares, you can try to buy them but they'll probably be at a hefty premium if you find any that match.
I craft those items for profit myself, and that profit is what you will pay a crafter for if you do not want to do it yourself.
If you have the currency to do so - Sacred Orb your bases, especially if you self-fracture, memory strand and or split bases.
Generic Grafting ES Gear
Fractured bases are expensive. Usually it's more economically viable to craft on lightly overqualified bases (usually 24-26%) with dense fossil spam for prefixes.
If you want giga gear you will want to self-fracture. These on average cost x4 the cost of a fracturing orb + your base, so only do this if you are looking for some expensive upgrades, and should only be done on 28%+ quality bases.
Old-ish ideo Crafting Guide:
Trade Site Searches:
I have made some predefined searches that'll allow you to quickly find decent items.
Lethal Prides:
Budget Version (Intimidation, 1 Rage on hit, these searches includes the Clever Thief node!!!!)
Strong Version:
At least 5% Double Damage, + Intimiation, 1 Rage on hit: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Settlers/DM8dqZBi5
Abyss Jewel: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mercenaries/olBqzrZhl (You can lower the weighted sum to something more affordable)
You can also craft Abysses yourself, but it's extremely annyoing, and you're semi lucky to get 3 mods right, 4 is very unrealistic.
You grab a fractured murderous eye jewel (ES or 50% shock avoid fracture), and spam metallic fossils until it's good enough.
